Job Description

The Opportunity: Building a Legacy in Enterprise Architecture

TRC Talent Solutions has partnered with a $3 billion global supply chain leader to identify a Lead Enterprise Application Analyst. This is a newly created, high-visibility role reporting directly to a leadership team with deep roots in world-class organizations.

You will be the foundational hire in an emerging Enterprise Architecture practice. This is not a "maintenance" role; you will be a strategic partner to the business, steering the selection of new software platforms, leading AI research initiatives, and ensuring the architectural integrity of massive global implementations.

The Strategy: Business-First Technology

Our client is currently undergoing a massive digital transformation, including a CRM selection (Salesforce), a transition to SAP S/4HANA, and a major cloud upgrade of their Manhattan Associates WMS. We need a seasoned professional who can sit with Sourcing and Finance teams to build trust, translate their needs into technical roadmaps, and manage external implementation partners to ensure excellence.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Product Selection & Implementation

Lead the evaluation and selection of enterprise-grade software, including the current CRM selection process (Salesforce) and the iRely commodity management platform.

Drive the RFI/RFP process, developing technical questionnaires to vet vendors and ensure third-party solutions meet security and integration standards.

Serve as the technical "guardrail" for implementation partners, reviewing architecture documents and design sessions to ensure they are building for long-term scalability.

Enterprise Integration & Architecture

Map and manage "hooks" and integrations between core systems, including SAP, Manhattan Associates (WMS), ServiceNow, and cloud-hosted user applications.

Collaborate with internal cloud and security teams to maintain a high uptime, strong security posture, and a clear disaster recovery roadmap.

Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation that serves as the blueprint for the organization’s evolving tech stack.

Innovation & Business Intelligence

Lead the "Technical Scout" function: researching AI platforms, conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs), and building business cases to prove ROI for new technologies.

Partner with Finance and Sourcing to build advanced dashboard reporting (utilizing tools like Alteryx) to provide visibility into cost management and commodity risk.

Act as a functional expert who can learn niche business logic (e.g., Commodities and Logistics) quickly to better support technical designs.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Education

Seasoned Expertise: 7–9 years of experience in enterprise systems analysis, business systems consulting, or junior solutions architecture.

Technical Foundation: A strong background in programming or coding is required to understand the "how," though this role is focused on the "what" and "why" of business strategy.

Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in Commodities, Logistics, or Supply Chain environments is highly preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Competencies

Familiarity with major enterprise ecosystems: SAP, Manhattan Associates, or Salesforce.

Understanding of integration concepts: APIs, middleware, and cloud connectivity (Azure/AWS).

Experience with data analytics and cost management tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI).

Communication & Presence

Ability to build trust through in-person collaboration; this role requires being onsite 2 days per week in Duluth, GA to partner with Sourcing and Finance stakeholders.

Strong "attitude and aptitude"—a proactive mindset focused on learning new technologies and steering the business toward the right technical products.

Compensation & Growth

Target Base Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 (commensurate with experience).
Bonus: $2,500.

Career Path: This role is designed to evolve organically into a Senior Solutions or Enterprise Architect position as the department grows.

Benefits: Comprehensive package including 401(k) match, wellness reimbursements, and a streamlined interview process through TRC.
