Job Title: Temporary Ship-Prep Laborer (Day Labor)
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Assignment Length: March 25 – April 3
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Employment Type: Temporary / Project-Based
Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable day laborers to assist with a short-term project supporting shipping and warehouse preparation activities. This role will focus on preparing materials and shipments for transport, ensuring products are properly secured, wrapped, and staged for delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure shipments to ensure safe transport
- Shrink-wrap and band pallets for shipping
- Assist with general material handling and movement of products
- Stage and organize pallets in designated shipping areas
- Follow safety procedures and warehouse guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with additional shipping or warehouse tasks as needed
- Other duties will be assigned by the manager/supervisor
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
