Job Title: Material Handler
Job Type: Contract to hire
Location: Norcross, GA (Fully On-site)
Shift: M-F 8:30am-5:30pm
Pay: $16/hour
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and move incoming/outgoing shipments safely and efficiently.
- Receive and inspect deliveries; verify packing slips, counts, and condition of goods.
- Stage, store, and organize products in designated warehouse areas.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Operate pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment to move materials.
- Maintain accurate logs, labels, and records of materials handled.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized; dispose of packing materials properly.
- Follow company safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques at all times.
- Support team members and supervisors with additional warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Basic math and documentation skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
