Job Description

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, contract negotiation, and supplier management to support operational and strategic objectives. This role ensures materials and services are secured at competitive cost, high quality, and reliable supply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with production needs.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers on pricing and terms.
  • Manage contracts and ensure compliance throughout the lifecycle.
  • Monitor spend and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Track supplier performance and address delivery or quality issues.
  • Mitigate supply risks and maintain backup sourcing options.
  • Maintain procurement policies and support cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, or purchasing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Solid analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage priorities and collaborate across departments.
