Position Title: Staff Accountant

Reports to: Sr. Accounting Manager

Job Type: Full Time 

Status: Salaried, Exempt

Salary: $60k-75k  

Location: Onsite, Lawrenceville, GA 

 

The primary purpose of the Staff Accountant is to perform various account analysis, variance analysis, and support the month-end process. This position also posts various journal entries and will perform bank and account reconciliations.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Reviews and reconciles various balance sheet accounts monthly and annually
• Responsible for assessing accuracy of various revenue and expense accounts monthly
• Supports bank reconciliations with review/investigation as needed
• Review lease data and analyze revenue variances
• Assist with month end closing tasks as well as year-end closing 
• Participate in other projects as assigned 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs 
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills 
• Critical thinker capable of initiating process improvements 
• Exhibits initiative and ability to work independently 
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
