Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute sourcing initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the RFP process, including evaluating proposals, shaping negotiation strategies, and driving outcomes that optimize value.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation to support sourcing decisions, ensuring fairness, compliance, and technical accuracy for all potential suppliers.
  • Apply a data-driven approach to manage spend categories and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies tailored to specific needs, ranging from traditional competitive bids to catalog-based purchasing solutions where appropriate.
  • Oversee supplier relationship management initiatives to foster long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Track, monitor, and report on cost savings and procurement performance metrics.
  • Ensure that all purchases are cost-effective, delivered on time, and meet quality standards.
  • Partner with internal departments to support supplier evaluation, selection, and development, while managing quotations and tender processes transparently and efficiently.
  • Prepare and manage indirect procurement contracts, including timely renewal reviews and compliance oversight.
  • Generate financial, analytical, and operational reports to support sourcing decisions.
  • Lead strategic sourcing efforts for capital projects, ensuring alignment across business units and manufacturing sites in Georgia.
  • Research and benchmark best practices to continuously enhance sourcing processes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier contracts and procurement activities.
  • Develop and implement a compliance-focused procurement strategy for indirect spend.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the procurement team and company objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
  • 5 years experience minimum as a Buyer within manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse operations
  • Prior experience with SAP, Oracle, etc.
  • Prior experience with MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas, sum ifs, etc)
