TRC is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer to identify a skilled Structures Technician to support aircraft production and assembly operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing aerospace organization focused on advanced aircraft development and manufacturing.

Summary

The Structures Technician will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing aircraft structural components in a production environment. This role requires hands-on experience with aircraft structures, sheet metal, composites, and precision assembly processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety in a highly regulated aerospace setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install aircraft structural components including sheet metal parts, composite panels, frames, brackets, and subassemblies

• Perform drilling, riveting, fastening, bonding, sealing, and assembly operations in accordance with engineering specifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and technical documentation

• Measure, cut, fabricate, and fit components to required tolerances and specifications

• Perform structural modifications, repairs, and rework as required

• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality and engineering requirements

• Document completed work and support manufacturing traceability requirements

• Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve assembly issues and improve processes

• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and aerospace manufacturing standards

• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment

• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years of experience in aircraft structures, sheet metal fabrication, or aerospace manufacturing

• Experience working with aluminum, composite materials, and structural assemblies

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications

• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment

• Understanding of aerospace quality standards and manufacturing processes

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship quality

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and meet schedule commitments

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
